My Account gives you secure access to a range of council services, including Council Tax, Benefits, Tenant Services and housing assistance.
Sign in your way
Go to the My Account sign in page and choose how you would like to sign in:
- Email address and password
- Google account
- Apple account
- Microsoft account
Choose the option that is most convenient for you.
Skip the password next time
You can use your fingerprint or face recognition to sign in to My Account instead of entering your password each time.
New to My Account?
You can choose to set up fingerprint or face recognition when you register or after you have signed in.
Already have a My Account?
If your account was created before biometric sign-in was introduced, simply:
- Sign in to My Account with your email and password
- Go to Security Settings
- Select the option to set up fingerprint or face recognition
- Follow the steps on your device
Once enabled, you can use biometrics to sign in on future visits. Your biometric information remains on your device and is never shared with Brent Council. If you use multiple devices, you will need to turn on biometrics for each device you use to access My Account.
Keeping your information secure
If you sign in using an email address and a password, you will be asked to complete an extra security check when you sign in. This helps us to protect your personal information.
We'll send you a six-digit verification code to confirm it's really you. You can choose to receive the code by:
- Text message
- Telephone call*
You will need to register a telephone number the first time you use this security feature.
You can manage all your security preferences at any time through Security Settings.
