Health and safety in the workplace
Information and advice
Our health and safety team undertakes inspections, investigates accidents and offers Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) approved training. If you feel that where you work or visit is unsafe or affecting your health you should raise this issue with managers at your workplace. We deal with issues relating to dangerous activity that could potentially cause a major accident resulting in loss of life or limb. Employers have a legal duty to display a safety poster in a prominent position in each workplace. Order your poster online or contact the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
