The Resident Blue Badge Permit is a digital permit that allows Blue Badge holders to park outside their homes in resident or permit-only bays, or general disabled parking bays without displaying their badge. This can help to reduce the risk of theft.
This permit does not replace your Blue Badge. You will still need to display your Blue Badge if you park your vehicle in any other restricted locations that the badge allows you to park, such as single yellow lines.
If you live in a car free development, you will not be able to apply for a resident Blue Badge permit or visitor permits.
About the permit
- You can apply for a maximum of three permits per household.
- The permit is valid for 12 months. You will receive a reminder 14 days before your current permit is due to expire.
Cost
The Resident Blue Badge Parking Permit is free of charge.
