Amend, replace or cancel your parking permit

If you have a resident permit, we can arrange temporary cover if you are using a courtesy or hire vehicle because your vehicle is being repaired.

You will need to provide one of the following:

• car hire or rental agreement
• a letter from the garage confirming that your car is being repaired
• a letter from the insurance company confirming that your car has been damaged.

If you are moving out of your current controlled parking zone you will need to cancel your permit.

Please note: If you have moved into a different parking zone within the borough, you still need to cancel your existing permit before applying for a new one. We are unable to amend your permit and new documentation will need to be supplied.

To cancel your permit, log in to your online parking account, go to 'Account Summary', select your current permit and click 'Cancel Permit' at the bottom of the screen.

Refunds

• If you are entitled to a refund we will process it within 20 working days.
• A refund will be up to one third of the cost of the remaining value on the permit.
• Refunds will be credited onto the original payment card used to purchase the permit.
• In the event the payment card has expired refunds will be credited to the linked bank account.
• We will also send you an email confirming your permit cancellation and the value of any refund due.

If you have changed your vehicle, please let us know and we can change your details. 

You can only change a vehicle registration three times in the lifetime of a permit.
