Alperton residents are reminded to bring photo ID with them, as polling stations open in today’s by-election.

Four polling stations in Alperton ward will be open from 7am to 10pm. Voters in the ward should check their polling card to find out which polling station they can vote at.

There are a number of accepted forms of ID, including:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • Multiple concessionary travel passes
  • PASS card (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
  • Blue badge
  • And many more

>> See a full list of accepted photo ID

Voters must bring the original document (copies or photos will not be accepted), but will be able to use expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo.

A reminder that postal votes can be returned by hand to a polling station – voters need to complete a form when dropping these off.
