Brent Council and the Metropolitan Police have successfully shut down two businesses involved in a suspected drug operation on Harrow Road, Queen’s Park. This enforcement action is part of Brent’s ongoing commitment to cracking down on harmful activities in our town centres, ensuring that high streets are places everyone can feel proud of.
Brent’s Community Safety and Prevention Team worked closely with the Police’s Safer Neighbourhood Team to secure a legal Closure Order for a mobile shop and a café. The operation followed reports of suspected drug dealing and serious anti-social behaviour linked to both businesses. Police secured search warrants and uncovered illegal substances and weapons, leading to several arrests.
The Closure Orders will remain in place for a minimum of three months, sending a clear message that Brent is taking a strong stance against businesses suspected of being involved in criminal conduct and activities.
