Produced by the Jason Roberts Foundation, the Empower to Achieve exhibition is part of the Empower to Achieve project, which explored the history of women in sport from Caribbean, Indian, and Somali heritage. The exhibition highlights the stories of five women of Caribbean and Somali heritage, Celeste Stevens, Lorna Falconer, Jawahir ‘JJ’ Roble MBE, Yamilé Aldama and Connie Henry MBE, who have worked in the fields of football clubs, competition, officiating, broadcasting, media, and the charity sector.
