Brent Council have been working with residents of the Windmill Court estate to develop proposals to provide high-quality, new build, affordable housing.
The proposals will involve the demolition of the existing 18 maisonettes and the two-storey car park.
This will make way for 60 affordable new homes, which will be a mixture of sizes, including one, two, three and four-bedroom homes. This will be an additional 42 new homes to the site.
The proposals also include significant improvements to the communal outdoor space, parking and the provision of a redesigned playground and multi-use games area.
The development offers the opportunity to address some of the concerns that residents have expressed about the layout of the current estate, improving security, waste management and amenities for everyone who lives there.
