Our priority is to prevent you from becoming homeless. In the first instance, we will always try to help you to stay in your current home, maintain your tenancy, if you have one and avoid you being evicted.
If for example you are homeless, or threatened with homelessness because of disrepair, relationship breakdown or issues with rent arrears we will complete the relevant enquiries and assessments, and where possible have these issues resolved in order to help you stay in your current home.
We will only consider helping you to find somewhere else to live, where this is not possible.
