Changes to bin collections due to hot weather
To help our collection crews during the current hot weather, bin collections will begin an hour earlier than usual over the coming days. If your collection is due between Friday 11 July and Tuesday 15 July, please make sure you put your bins, sacks and containers out by 6:00am to avoid missed collections. Tax-free childcare is a government scheme to help working families with their childcare costs.
You could get Tax-Free Childcare if you and your partner:
If you are eligible for Tax-Free Childcare, the government will pay £2 for every £8 you pay your childcare provider. This is paid via an online childcare account that you set up for your child.
You can get up to £2,000 per child, per year, or up to £4,000 a year for disabled children.
Working Tax Credit is available to help with childcare costs while you work.
The basic amount you can receive is up to £2,005 a year, plus an extra amount that is dependent on things like your circumstances and income.
You can only make a claim for Working Tax Credit if you already get Child Tax Credit.
Universal Credit is a monthly payment you may be able to get it if you’re on a low income, out of work or you cannot work.
