Our Shared Lives scheme provides vulnerable adults and young people with accommodation and support in the homes of suitable carers.
By living in the home of a carer, they can be more independent, feel part of a family and get involved in the community.
Shared Lives gives support to adults that have autism, dementia, mental health needs and older people that need more help. The scheme can also provide respite for carers, who need short-term support for the person they care for.
