Applications for the Community Grants Fund closed on Sunday 5 November 2023 after receipt of 114 applications. Collectively these applications added up to potential projects of over £1million, so the evaluation panels had some tough choices to make.
Because of the strength of the submissions and the good BHM knows the projects will bring to their communities, the council was able to raise the funding from £250,000 to £433,000 in order to allow 46 different projects to receive the funding they needed.
